Wheel Scene is proud to introduce our first video series, Selects, in conjunction with one of our favourite blading videographers Ant Medina.

For the first instalment, we flew Detroit’s Brian Weis out to Texas to film for ten days and we think you will agree that the results are pretty amazing.

“Brian and I have been talking about doing a piece together for a year or so now, but it wasn’t until earlier this year when it became a reality. With the help of Wheel Scene and some good flight searching, we were able to get Brian to Texas. From day one we hit some snags with Brian re-injuring a hip (and making it 10x worse) and my car completely dying on us and needing to be towed when we were an hour and a half from home. I can’t give Brian enough credit for coming through as hard as he did despite all the injuries he incurred. With only ten days in Texas, and having to take a couple off to rest his wounds, we were able to create something both of us are very juiced on and we hope you all feel the same. Brian is one of the most motivated bladers I have had the pleasure of working with and he’s a very positive influence for blading. If you dig what we created, feel free to donate to Brian’s hard work and so I can continue this video series for the year. Thank you.” – Ant Medina.

You may have noticed there is a Donate button at the top of the screen. Although we put up the money to fly Brian out to Texas to film this section, there was no budget left over to actually pay him for the countless cuts and bruises he sustained  during the filming process. All donations will be split evenly between Brian Weis and Anthony Medina.
