British director Luke Monaghan spent several months with Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky during some of the most pivotal moments in his career to date and he has created a 10-minute-long documentary to give the world an insight into the global phenomenon.

He might smoke enough weed to make Snoop Dogg raise his eyebrows, but this young man knows exactly what he wants and, when discussing various issues, he presents himself as extremely considered and open-minded.

This is quite rare in the current hip hop climate.

His debut mixtape changed that face of rap music in the noughties.

Only time will tell if his major label debut album is capable of doing it all over again.
